Antique Copper

Waxed and hand-rubbed to a rich luster, Antique Copper is reddish-brown in hue and will slowly mellow to a classic patina. Antique Nickel

Our Antique Nickel (AN) finish is rich and full of character, hand-brushed giving it a subtle dark tone and that old-world charm, perfect for contemporary and traditional applications alike. Evocative of pewter and less shiny than our Vintage Nickel metal finish, our Antique Nickel metal finish is a handsome choice and its deeper tones tend to accentuate intricate details such as cast canopies, finials and other decorative lighting elements. Antique Nickel is suitable for interior light fixtures only.

Architectural Bronze

Our Architectural Bronze (AR) metal finish has a deep chocolate color and softly brushed texture. This popular metal finish is a must where color contrast between interior or exterior light fixtures and alabaster or glass is important. Architectural bronze is dark and handsome choice and works well with contemporary and traditional lighting designs. Architectural Bronze is suitable for Exterior and Interior use.

Architectural Iron

Architectural Iron (AI) is a stately gray slate color lightly accented by natural brass highlights. Skilled hand-rubbing imparts a smoky matte finish on the larger areas of the light fixture while edges are given a soft shine and retain the natural beauty of brass. Architectural Iron is an elegantly striking, yet subtle two tone metal finish and makes evident the high quality and handcrafted nature of our light fixtures. Architectural Iron is suitable for both exterior and interior light fixtures.

Black

Our Black (BK) finish is a traditional finish that complements wrought iron and other black architectural details. The surface is neither shiny nor matte, but a perfectly smooth satin layer of rich, pure raven tone. A clean and classic finish, Black works well with historic and modern lighting styles. Black is suitable for both exterior and interior light fixtures.

Brushed Brass

Its origin is historic, yet the bright satin tone of our Brushed Brass (BB) finish has an undeniably clean, contemporary flair. Brushed Brass is a popular interior finish for period and modern interiors alike. Light fixtures metal finished in Brushed Brass add warmth to interiors with dark or neutral palettes. Brushed Nickel

Our Brushed Nickel's (BN) versatile satin finish is classic in traditional decor, bold in contemporary applications, and the perfect complement to stainless steel. Polished Brass

Nothing matches the warmth and elegance of our Polished Brass (PB). We hand lacquer the finish to preserve a long-lasting shine. Our Polished Brass is a natural choice for traditional lighting fixtures and daring choice for contemporary lighting styles. Polished Brass has a highly reflective, glowing surface. For interior use only. Polished Brass is also available unlacquered which allows the finish to darken with time. Polished Brass is suitable for interior light fixtures only.

Polished Unlacquered Brass

Light fixtures in our natural Polished Unlacquered Brass finish start out with all the warmth and shine of our lacquered Polished Brass finish but gracefully darken with time. A “living” finish, Polished Unlacquered Brass is recommended for interior light fixtures only.

Raw Copper

Our freshly plated Raw Copper (RC) metal finish initially has a vivid terra cotta color. Over time, with exposure to light and air, it will mellow to a deep, rich red patina, similar to antique terracotta brick. Raw Copper, like our Antique Copper (AC) metal finish, is ideal for rustic indoor and outdoor light fixtures, Arts & Crafts lighting, and an especially stunning contrast to our natural alabaster bowls and shades. Raw Copper is suitable for both exterior and interior light fixtures.

Sandblast Steel

Some styles of our reclaimed Vintage Holophane light fixtures include the original steel hardware components. These original components are cleaned and the surface is slightly darkened by our lighting restoration department to produce our Sandblast Steel finish. Its subtle texture and darkened tone retains an air of authenticity and works well in modern kitchens, industrial loft spaces, and contemporary offices. Sandblast Steel is available for our Vintage Prismatic interior light fixtures only.

Satin Antique Brass

Our Satin Antique Brass (SA) metal finish is caramel-brown in color with a flawless hand-brushed texture that reveals subtle gold undertones. Elegant and understated, Satin Antique Brass metal finish is a popular choice for our handcrafted outdoor lanterns and traditional style indoor lighting. Satin Antique Brass is suitable for both exterior and interior light fixtures.

Satin Steel

Some of our restored Vintage Prismatic and antique holophane light fixtures are available with their original steel fittings. Our lighting restoration department cleans and brightens the fittings to produce our Satin Steel finish. It is sleek and has a modern industrial quality ideal for modern kitchens, loft spaces, and contemporary offices. Satin Steel is available for our Vintage Prismatic interior light fixtures only.

Verdigris Patina

Not to be confused with common painted faux finishes, our authentic Verdigris Patina (VG) is the result of a meticulous, day-by-day aging process that produces an organic mix of subtle brown, green, and copper tones. Unarguably, Verdigris Patina is one of the most interesting and beautiful high quality metal finishes that we offer. A versatile metal finish, Verdigris Patina is popular on modern, rustic and traditional lighting styles. It is widely used on outdoor lanterns and is a natural choice with our genuine alabaster light fixtures. Verdigris Patina is suitable for both exterior and interior light fixtures.

Vintage Nickel

Vintage Nickel (VN) is a highly polished, slightly darkened silver color. Similar to, but a shade deeper than our Polished Nickel metal finish, Vintage Nickel compares to silver just beginning to darken and is complementary to chrome fittings. Intricate light fixture details such as elaborate canopies, finials, and bobesches are emphasized by the darker tones of Vintage Nickel.
