The elegant exterior of an updated Shingle Style coastal home is teeming with traditional early 20th century detail but renewed with fresh, elegant style. Note the dynamic Chinese Chippendale design in the woodwork of the custom front door and second story airing porch railing complimenting the course of the cedar wall cladding. The handsome front entrance of this grand home features a traditional porch with four columns that support a pediment with a curved interior that frames an elliptical fan design. Suspended from the stained arced beadboard ceiling is our handcrafted London Lantern 14 inch Wide Solid Stem Exterior Pendant Light. The large scale lantern was ordered in a 40 inch overall length to accommodate the high porch ceiling. Visually, the bottom of the lantern floats above the painted wood molding above the door. Carefully constructed in Milwaukee of the finest solid brass materials, the ceiling mounted porch light features a heavy cast mounting plate and sturdy stem. The outdoor light has a four-sided sky-light roof. Light and airy, but built to last for the next generation; our ceiling mounted London Lantern is an especially fine choice for high quality outdoor lighting where scale and traditional style matter.
