“Blessed are the ones whom the Muses love; sweet is the sound that flows from their lips.“ ~ From Homeric Hymn to the Muses and Apollo Capture the romance and history of ancient Greece with this spectacular authentic alabaster pendant light reproduced from a 1903 antique light fixture. The muses symbolize inspiration for music, poetry, fine arts, and sciences. On the remarkable hand-carved alabaster stone bowl of this outstanding interior light fixture, each individual Muse is pictured in a flowing robe carrying the adornment appropriate to her art. The restaurant shown specializes in Northern Italian cuisine and several carved Pierian Muses Alabaster Pendants provide enchanting allure and soft illumination for diners. We made the Overall Length of the fixtures 28 inches to keep them at a height well above visitors’ heads, but low enough for the details to be appreciated by diners. The alabaster bowls in the background are Vine and Berry Pendants.
