A dark finish on the reproduction hardware pairs with the faceted texture of the original antique Holophane shade and provides a balanced look. These rare and unique pieces of vintage glass are outstanding examples of mid-twentieth century industrial art.
Originally manufactured in the USA (OH/PA/WV) from the 1920’s1950’s, they were used to illuminate our U.S. factories, gymnasiums, power plants, etc.
The marks / imperfections inherent in the glass after decades of use attest to their durability and history.
