A recently constructed brick townhouse in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood makes beautiful use of Midwestern Prairie influenced design and traditional building materials for a striking Transitional architectural style. A sleek eyebrow window tops the flat roof while deep eaves shade a variety of window shapes and styles on the handsome townhouse. Distinct courses of brick work and decorative stonework enliven the exterior of the home. Although this contemporary building is not to be mistaken for a period townhouse, it fits perfectly in the historic urban neighborhood.
