Outdoor Lighting for Traditional Waterfront Home
The New Traditional home shown is located on the coast in Bristol County, Rhode Island. The handsome home was recently constructed with many elements of Shingle Style architecture are a nod to the rich history of the seaside county. Traditional rusticated stone walls and continuous cedar wall cladding, a steeply pitched roof line with several cross gables, oculus windows in the gables, and an iron widow's walk are just a few of the architectural details that recall the original Shingle Style homes popular in seaside resort towns in the late 19th century.
The home was built on a grand scale and the large size of our high quality handcrafted outdoor London Lanterns are in correct proportion to the stone columns, grand front entrance with stained beadboard ceiling, and two car garage with custom batten wood doors. Through seamless asymmetrical repetition of natural materials and traditional architectural elements, the designer of this robustly constructed home, Mary Ann Coffey of Providence, Rhode Island, created an elegant and memorable statement sure to be enjoyed by the residents for generations to come.
