Outdoor Lanterns for 1920's Stone Tudor Residence
Shown is a landmark example of circa 1920's asymmetrical stone Tudor home with multiple facade gables. The elegant residence has many typical elements of period Tudor architecture including wall cladding of natural square cut stone with irregular courses, eaves of varied heights with simple vergeboards, and substantial chimneys with decorative chimney pots. The two story bay is filled by casement windows with leaded glass panels and rectangular stained glass inserts. The projecting one story front entrance has an ornate cast frieze with a charming head looking down on the decorative iron transom over the original carved wood panel door.
Our outstanding London Lantern 10 inch Wide Scrolled Exterior Pier Light perfectly suits the handsome Tudor home and does not conflict with the original antique lantern mounted near the front door. We advised our customer to choose genuine Verdigris Patina metal finish with traditional Clear Seeded art glass panels and the Classical Acorn finial. Our high quality, made in the U.S.A outdoor pier light is installed on square stone columns around the front of the home as well as in the backyard patio and outdoor kitchen providing functional illumination with appropriate architectural detail.
