Metro Lantern for New Commercial Exterior Lighting

When our friends at Sendik's Food Market told us about their exciting plans for additional brick and mortar locations throughout the Milwaukee area, the owner and chief designer of Brass Light Gallery, Stephen Kaniewski, designed a new lantern for the family owned grocery chain. After reviewing architectural plans and consulting the owner of Sendik's, Kaniewski submitted a lantern design that is ideal for the handsome contemporary brick commercial building. Located in the heart of Milwaukee in a busy industrial and retail corridor, the architecture of the new Sendik's Market building reflects the urban location. Named the Metro Lantern, the large scale durably built wall mounted outdoor light complements the handsome brick exterior with heavy duty construction and smart design. Constructed of solid brass, the proportion of the Metro Lanterns™ Windowpane Overlay echoes the panes of glass in the building's large windows. The vertically oriented lantern is supported by solid brass brackets which match the struts of the market's stylish overhang. Shown in Architectural Bronze metal finish with our new Fountain art glass option, the Metro Lantern combines the best of streamlined industrial design with traditional high quality materials and construction. The Metro Lantern is UL Listed and accepts Incandescent, LED, or CFL equivalent lamping.
