Lighting for a Great Room with Cathedral Ceiling
The modern design and grand scale of the Great Room shown demanded large interior lighting with bold, clean lines. Polished Brass Torch Sconces with larger alabaster bowls provide ambient illumination and a warm, organic touch to the white on white interior. A very large, real alabaster stone bowl pendant, 36 inches in diameter with a 78-inch overall length, furnishes pleasant overhead light and dramatic architectural focus both inside and from outside when seen through the gable window. Alabaster has been a favorite material for lights since classical times. At Brass Light Gallery, we hand build our light fixtures exclusively with genuine alabaster stone from a quarry we have worked with for decades. Whitish in color and with variations in translucency and veining, our alabaster light fixtures offer the pure beauty only nature can provide.
