Exterior Lighting for French Chateau Style Residence
The recently constructed Mansard Style home shown is inspired by 16th-century French provincial architecture. Although seemingly simple and modest in design, each individual architectural detail is perfect and they add up to a very special whole. The mansard roof contains a central dormer window with an arch that echoes the windows below. Batten shutters are the correct size and subtlety painted a shade darker than the smooth stucco walls of the exterior. The generously sized front entrance is of spare design, allowing the custom carved panel doors to quietly shine. Brass Light Gallery French Country Lanterns are the ideal outdoor light for the front entrance, custom garage, and rough stone square columns at the driveway entrance. The lanterns add illumination and touch of decorative warmth to the carefully planned home.
